UNIT4 – Stockholm

Revamping the Unit 4 Stockholm office was no small feat! Working in collaboration with 360 Workplace via Studio Alliance, our team was tasked with a full-scale downsizing and refurbishment project to improve coherency, acoustic quality, identity, and support their newly implemented remote working policy. We drew inspiration from the Unit 4 branding scheme, using bright green and blue colors to create a consistent brand character throughout the space. Our team developed different work zones and break-out areas to provide employees with flexible options for collaboration and remote work. We strategically placed private phone booths for focus work or online meetings and designed open collaborative spaces for teamwork. Acoustic improvement was a top priority, achieved through custom-designed Ecojazz sustainable felt board acoustic dividers for each workstation. The project involved vision and surveys, test-fits and plan layout, interior design, acoustic design, change management, project management, tenant representation, and more. We developed programming and zoning based on employee demands and activity levels for the client’s new remote work policy, revitalized grey areas, re-purposed existing spaces with new programming, and improved acoustic design and function in the office. Despite challenges, we delivered a functional, modern, and visually appealing workspace that meets the unique needs of the Unit 4 Stockholm office. We are proud of the results achieved by our team and the improvement we made to the workspace and employee experience.
